Our Mission

We are a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue operating in the greater Seattle area. Our small team of volunteers is comprised of trappers, caretakers, and fosters who are passionate about the wellbeing of all cats & kittens.

Our mission is to provide spay & neuter services to our feline friends, tame and find families for those who are willing, and safely return feral cats to their outdoor home.

News & Events

It's Raining Kittens!

Kitten season is upon us! While kittens can be born any time of year, spring & summer are the most likely seasons for unfixed cats to have litters. Cats can become pregnant as young as four months (yikes!) and have several litters per year. With each litter averaging 3-8 kittens, rescues and shelters get overrun fast. Unfortunately not all their stories will have happy endings, but anyone and everyone can make an impact.

The #1 most important thing you can do is spay & neuter your pets. One accidental walk-about of an indoor-only tomcat could result in dozens of new feral kittens. If you don't know eight people who want a kitten right now, you're probably not going to want your sweet girl-kitty to become a Queen (and if you do know eight people who want kittens then give them our number instead!). We know spay & neuter surgeries can be expensive (trust us, we know...), so we always recommend searching for organizations & veterinarians in your area that have payment accommodations.

Another massive help this time of year is donating to shelters & rescues. Our volunteers are out day & night following up on kitten-sightings and trapping adults to spay/neuter before it's too late. This means funds quickly start to run dry with housing, feeding, and nursing far more cats at once than any other time of year. Just $5 pays for a vaccine at the clinic, and every little bit helps. Many rescues end up having to pause intake so they have enough funds to care for the cats they already have. Support from the community is what keeps the doors open during our most challenging season.
